About Donations
Testicular Cancer is the most common cancer in young men (ages 20-44) and one of the few in this age group that is increasing in incidence.
Sarnia Connects is a not for profit social networking group for young professionals in the Sarnia Lambton area. Our members are constantly giving their time and energy to support groups, events, organizations and causes across Lambton County.
Sarnia Connects, in partnership with the Sarnia Community Foundation, is proud to present the 2nd Annual Get the Ball Rolling Testicular Cancer awareness event. On Friday, April 23, 2010 we will be hosting an entertaining and informational event at The Industry Theatre. Our goal is to, once again, educate people and promote awareness through food, music and fun.
Partnering with the Sarnia Community Foundation, this year's event is committed to raising $25,000 for the development of an Awareness Campaign that will include an educational video, digital resources and supplementary print materials focusing on the education, awareness and information sharing about Testicular Cancer.
The money raised will be kept in Sarnia Lambton, so that we can dedicate the funds to promoting awareness through local schools, teams, organizations, committees and youth groups. Your contribution to this goal would greatly improve our chance for success and the chance for young men in this area to beat this disease.
Feel free to donate online or by giving a few extra dollars the night of the event.
Help us to make Get the Ball Rolling a great night and an even better resource to combat this terrible disease.
Thank you in advance for your time and participation in this year’s event.
Best Regards,
